First of all, I would like to make it clear that this post is totally from my personal point of view. I paid for the ticket myself (not being sponsored like others) and I am entitled for my comments. As soon as I finished watching this movie, I tweeted some of my review on Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa, some of my friends agreed with it while there are a number of them did not. One even said that if I had so much to say on that movie, maybe I should make my own film. Which is totally nonsense; if I am a movie producer, I might produce a film. However, I am not. It’s like saying a carpenter should be a businessman, while the businessman should be a carpenter.
Truth to be told, I dozed off few minutes during the first half of the movie; and I rarely dozed off while watching a movie. (This is the second time and the first time was while watching Underdog Soldier). All in all, the CGI effects are commendable, worth the 8 million spent to make the movie. However, the overall film is a little bit gloomy and uninspired, apart from the fighting scenes. The details from the CGI are washed out by the gloominess of the color of the film.
She's hot, she has her own clothing line, she's rich (daughter of AmBank Group chairman Tan Sri Azman Hashim), she's a former hip-hop MC (Teh Tarik Crew) and now a R&B star. Oh and she is Malaysian! What is not to love? With her super sexy image - some lambasted her since she's a Muslim, she turned out to be more than the pretty face.
Growing up, Nina was influenced by many of the great 1980s and 90s American hip-hop acts, including the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Run DMC, The Roots and Lauryn Hill of The Fugees. At university, she started to perform underground hip-hop gigs before forming her own group. “I was very much a fan of hip-hop during my school years and then I met the members of Teh Tarik Crew at college,” she says. Teh Tarik Crew went on to record a well-received EP and two albums before the group decided to part ways. - VisionKL

I believe, most if not all people in Malaysia know Siti Nurhaliza by now. Siti Nurhaliza has been a singing sensation since she was 16 years-old. Anyway, if you don’t know her, this is a quick snack of what you should know about Siti Nurhaliza:
18 Studio albums, 9 compilation albums and 5 live albums of 15 years of singing career
She has sold more than 3 million albums in Malaysia and Indonesia
Her wedding Datuk Sri Khalid Muhammad Jiwa was televised to 6.3 million viewers nationwide with 10 Indonesian representatives to capture the moment
She has received more than 100 awards locally and internationally including three Malaysian Book of Records (First Malaysian artiste to perform a solo concert at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall (2205), Most Awards Won Artiste – 112 awards (2004) and Most Awards Won Artiste – 52 awards (2001))
Her list of awards has to be put in a different page in Wikipedia since it is too long
Earlier this year, she launched her own line of beauty and cosmetic products called SimplySity. And one of my friends who is working with murai.com has kind enough to give me these following pictures from her personal collection to be shared with my readers. Thanks Ryuko Ieka! :)
Oh and please vote this poll!
If you want to listen to her voice, do check out their video below. The song entitled "Amarah" (anger); a collaboration with an Indonesia diva, Krisdayanti:
If anyone care to know my take on Siti Nurhaliza, well, for me she is a good singer, a kind person and business minded individual. Am I a big fan of her? Nope. Am I listening to all her songs? I don't think so. Do I hate her? I honestly believe no one is deserving of any hatred of any kind just because that person is beautiful, rich and has a talent and use it to her own benefits. No. So, what do you think of Siti Nurhaliza?
Artist: Aizat Album: Percubaan Pertama Lyric: Sahabat
Aizat - Sahabat
Sahabat
Mengapa kau pergi
Tinggal aku sendiri
Kau tahu ku tak sanggup
Sahabat
ingatlah
Kau selalu jadi yang terbaik
Walau kau tak di sini lagi
Sahabat
aku rindu padamu
Datang walau sesaat
Ku inginkan kau hadir
aku di sini dan menunggu
dia tempat dirimu
Kau tahu ku tak bisa
Belajar terbang dan melayang tanpa dirimu
Ku tak bisa dan kembalilah
ohh aku
di sini dan menunggu
dia tempat dirimu
Kau tahu ku tak bisa
Belajar terbang dan melayang tanpa dirimu
Ku tak bisa dan kembalilah my little black pot
ohh aku
di sini dan menunggu
dia tempat dirimu
Kau tahu ku tak bisa
Belajar terbang dan melayang tanpa dirimu
Ku tak bisa dan kembalilah
